What is Custom Bulk Beef?

 

A Share of Custom Bulk Beef is buying in bulk. We take care of everything for you...from raising the animal to delivering it to the butcher! All prices INCLUDE processing at a local, USDA inspected facility.

Whole Share ($4100-$4280 total)

Requires a $1,200 DEPOSIT at the time of order, which goes toward total balance when weight determined at butcher

  • 414-432 lbs of beef and includes all the regular cuts (steaks, roasts, brisket, ribs, etc) and ground beef (80/20) of one entire steer or heifer. Expect about 150-175lbs of the meat to be ground beef.

  • Price is based on "hanging weight" that is determined at the processor and is $5.95/lb hanging weight.

  • Most we raise will be between 660—720 lbs hanging weight ($4100-4280). Price INCLUDES PROCESSING at a local butcher at a USDA inspected facility

  • You will need about 17-20 cu. ft of freezer space (a medium to large sized chest of stand up freezer)

  • Before your animal is taken to the processor, we will contact you before beginning to make cuts so you can customize your options for meat (steak thickness, preferences on roast size, etc)

  • Price DOES NOT include shipping, this is for local pick up from the processor. We can ship for an additional fee of $600 per whole. We can also arrange local delivery if you need.

 

Half Share ($2,050-2,140)

Requires a $600 DEPOSIT at the time of order, which goes toward total balance when weight determined at butcher

  • 207-216 lbs of beef and includes all the regular cuts (steaks, roasts, brisket, ribs, etc) and ground beef (80/20) of one half a steer or heifer. Expect about 85-95 lbs of the meat to be ground beef.

  • Price is based on "hanging weight" that is determined at the processor and is $5.95/lb hanging weight.

  • Most we raise will be between 330-360 lbs hanging weight ($2,050-2,140). Price INCLUDES PROCESSING at a local butcher at a USDA inspected facility

  • You will need about 9-12 cu. ft of freezer space (half a medium sized chest or stand up freezer)

  • Before your animal is taken to the processor, we will contact you before beginning to make cuts so you can customize your options for meat (steak thickness, preferences on roast size, etc)

  • Price DOES NOT include shipping, this is for local pick up from the processor. We can ship for an additional fee of $300 per half. We can also arrange local delivery if you need
