All About Our Shipping

How will the beef be shipped?

All our beef is frozen, so it will be shipped in a well insulated box with plenty of thermal layers and dry ice to make sure it arrives full frozen to your door. Our boxes are 14 and 16 inch cube in size and labeled for easy identification.

What updates will I receive on my package?

Once the beef is packed, you will receive an email with a tracking number as well as email updates throughout the shipping process. We are also available at any time to answer any questions you may have.

How fast is the beef shipped?

Most orders will arrive 1 to 1.5 weeks from the time the order is placed (some will be sooner) *this does not include pre-orders on bulk beef

Here are the details: All orders that are placed by 11pm on Saturdays will be shipped on the Monday or Tuesday following the date of purchase. The time for travel varies between 1-3 days depending on distance from us.

Here are a few examples:

  • Order is placed on Thursday, it is shipped out on the very next Monday, and arrives by Wednesday of the next week. (total time from order was one week)

  • Order is placed on Monday evening, but doesn’t ship out until the next Monday, and has a 2 day travel time, so arrived on Wednesday (total time from order was 1.5 weeks)

Why do you only ship on Monday and Tuesday?

Due to the sensitive nature of shipping perishable goods, we like to allow for delays and not have beef be stuck on a Saturday or Sunday on it’s way to you if possible.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all 48 states in the continental US. This excludes Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship outside of the US.

Can I delay my shipment to another date?

Absolutely! We ask that you make us aware asap before your shipment is packed. We are more than willing to work with you on a date that works for you. Just please reply to your order confirmation email and let us know that you would like to make that adjustment and what is a better time for you.

Can I have my order shipped to another address than the one i used to place the order (as a gift for example)?

Yes, we are happy to make that arrangement. Simply reply to your order confirmation email or contact us at info@lamayfamilyfarms.com to let us know of your wishes.
